Using Transfer Tables

1. When you first enter into this option, the following command options will appear: Setup, Process, and Exit. Select Setup.

2. A Select An Option window will appear with a list of tables that can be transferred. Select the table to transfer records from one ID to another. You may transfer between the following tables:

• Brokers
• Buyers
• Carriers
• Chains
• Cost Adjustment Types
• Cost Centers
• Customer Class
• Item Class
• Price Class
• Production Departments
• Reasons - Credit Orders
• Reasons - Voiding Orders
• Reasons - Voiding Purchase Orders
• Reasons - Short Ship Orders
• Regions
• Routes
• Sales Categories
• Terms

3. A window appears with the tables that you are allowed to transfer between. Select the table desired.

4. A message will appear on the screen detailing the functionality of the particular utility.

5. Simultaneously, a Select An Option window appears and displays the following choices: EXIT, ADD, and PRINT LIST. A listing of transfers entered earlier in the day will also appear.

• If you select EXIT, the system will leave this option.
• If you select ADD, the system will allow you to enter the table to transfer. Use the fields below to specify the transfer:
  • Old [table you selected] ID – Enter the table ID you want to transfer. Press F3 to display a window from which to choose from.
  • New [table you selected] ID – Enter the table ID (number) you want to transfer the old record to. Press F3 to display a window from which to choose from.

  The name of both tables will display and command options will appear:

  • Select Add to save the transfer of the table. Press Enter to return to the original Select An Option window.
  • Select Exit to exit without saving the transfer.
• If you select PRINT LIST, the system will print a list of all table transfers waiting to be processed.
• If you select one of the listed table history transfers, command options will appear: Delete and Exit.
  • If you select Delete, the system will delete the specified transfer.
  • If you select Exit, the system will return to the Old [table you selected] field.

To process transfers:

• Confirm you are the only user logged onto Net•Yield. See Concurrent Users.
• Select Process from the first Select An Option window. A list of pending transfers will display.
• Select the table transfer you want to process. The system will then process the change.
